Switch to the 8SE
So, with Galaxy season approaching I thought I’d get the Celestron 8SE setup and on the mount, and then also switch to using the new ZWO OAG rather than the Guide Scope. Things, however, didn’t go to plan.
With the updated imaging train, it looks like I had the Back Focus wrong. And even worse, the SV305 camera can’t achieve focus when connected to the OAG. Looks like a different guide camera is needed. Watch this space…
